It’s a Rehearsal, a Fundraiser, and a Performance!

Rehearsal: Students will report to Gene Cox Stadium at 8am on Saturday, September 20. The schedule for the day will include rehearsal and sectionals for the half time show. Ms. Haugen will release the full schedule before the event. Lunch will be provided by the band boosters. Students should prepare just as they would for a regular day of band camp.

·      Wear sub shirt, black shorts and long black socks & comfortable shoes for marching

·      Wear Sunscreen & bring extra to reapply

·      Wear a Hat

·      Bring your water JUG (we will have lots of water for refilling)

·      Bring the other pieces of your sub uniform: hat, band bag, and marching shoes

Fundraiser: Students will be collecting donations. Funds will be split evenly between the student’s individual band account and the band general fund. The band portion will go towards marching band expenses such as travel, uniforms, and instrument repair. If your band fees are already paid, the money you raise will be credited to your account and will roll over for next year’s fees. Students will collect donations through September 30^th.

Our fundraising goal is $25,000! Your student should receive an email from BoosterHub with a set up link to create their individual fundraising page. Students should set up their page and then share it to collect donations – Ms. Haugen will review this in class with students. We will also be selling band merch at the performance.

Performance: There will be a performance at Gene Cox Stadium at 5:30pm. Please invite your friends, family and neighbors to join us!
